Barcelona. . .It was a dream come true! On the left is seafood paella. Freaking delicious! The shrimp were fresh, the lemons were fresh, even the peas were fresh. Oh, and of course the mussles. I had the paella in Sitges which is a sea side town about 45 minutes outside of Barcelona. I would say that I enjoyed Sitges even more than Barcelona. From the second photo you can see why. Beautiful colonial architecture, art galleries, casual atmosphere, shops filled with cute European style clothing, fabulous view. I have to go back! The next shot is at that crazy, superclean and modern market in Barcelona. They were selling ostrich eggs! Crazy right? Some of you may recognize the fourth shot. That's me at the Parque Guell. And you might be wondering why I look like shit? Well, I was sick as a dog but I was still so thrilled to be there. Have to go back there, too and have a picnic with a nice bottle of wine. Anyway. . .the last shot is of one of the mosaics at Parque Guell. I was so inspired by the mosaics there that I bought all the stuff to make my own. That hasn't exactly happened yet, but you know how that goes : ) . . .
