I'm a Bay Area girl living in NYC. I love teaching and love to enjoy the city. When I'm not here soaking up all the culture, I'm traveling to places like, Barcelona, Brasil, Panama, Amsterdam, Guatemala, Japan and the Dominican Republic. I always dreamed of coming to the city and can't believe I'm still here--six years later. In that time I've picked up some interesting habits including capoeira, film festivals, art galleries, cooking, yoga and netflix. Oh, and did I mention searching limewire for talib kweli, shaki, mana, ben harper, manu chao, damien marley, bob, amel larrieux (sp?), calle 13, pink, lupe fiasco,julieta venegas, common, lauryn hill, the list goes on. . .
